The St. Martha Players, Inc. is currently accepting applications for the Edwin J. Forand Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is open to senior high school and college level students planning to pursue studies in the theater arts, voice, dance or music. Only students whose permanent address falls within a 25 mile radius of the Springfield/Enfield area are eligable.
To apply, applicants must provide two letters of recommendation; one must be from a dramatic or musical reference, and the other must be from an academic source. Applicants must also forward a current resume listing all pertinent personal and professional information, included present or anticipated curriculum, private studies and awards, or performance. A copy of the students transcript, and a personal letter from the applicant must accompany all materials, which explains the applicant's involvment in the performing arts, and goals for the future. Lastly, students entering college must include a copy of their letter of acceptance..
